Ingredients:

Hyssopus officinalis (Hyssop) is revered as a superior lung herb. Its combined antimicrobial, relaxing, anti-spasmodic and expectorant properties make it popular in helping with spastic coughs, whooping cough, and asthma.

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) is renowned as being highly anti-microbial and as a tea, is a popular remedy for fighting off a cold, or sore throat. It is also well-loved for treating coughs as it both produces expectoration and reduces spasm. It is commonly used along with other herbs in bronchitis, whooping cough and asthma.

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) has a reputation for helping with respiratory infections and coughs, as it releases its volatile oil, which has antimicrobial properties, into the lungs. It is also popular for its ability to help relax bronchial spasms, and have a calming effect on coughs.

Mullein (Verbascum Thapsus) has a reputation as a respiratory tonic that that will help soothe and tone irritated, inflamed tissues in the throat and lungs. Its ability to relax the chest muscles, loosen congestion and facilitate expectoration, make it helpful for coughs, especially hard, tight coughs.

Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is prized for its sweet flavor, soothing effect on irritated respiratory tissues and its expectorant action that helps support the body to clear excess mucous. It is commonly part of herbal teas for treating coughs and respiratory infections.

Ginger root (Zingiber officinalis) is well-known as a warming, circulatory stimulant with anti-microbial qualities. It is commonly used alone or along with other herbs to support the immune system in acute infections. As a circulatory stimulant, it helps deliver the benefits of other herbs used around the body.

Suggested Use:

Use 1 tsp. tea per cup of boiling water. Cover and steep for 15 min. Drink daily as needed; adults can drink up to 3 cups per day. If symptoms persist, be sure to see your healthcare professional.
